Talavera and pewter

Talavera dishes and serving pieces are handmade and hand painted by Mexican´s talented potters. The hand-crafting process of Talavera ceramics was brought to Mexico in the 16th century. Talavera is a type of majolica ceramics distinguished by an off-white background.

Mexican pewter is sand-casted by hand and polished by skilled metal craft artisans. Pewter and talavera are a perfect match to make one of a kind pieces to either bring them to the table or just use it as decoration. They can also be combined with other materials such as wood and hand blown glass.
