Otomi
The tenangos (a white cotton blanket embroidered with various colored figures), are a beautiful decorative object. They are made by Otomi embroidering craftsmen in the state of Hidalgo, Mexico. Tenangos are a form of cultural expression in which craftsmen (the one who draws the figures on the blankets) and embroiderers (those who color each drawing with threads) pour concepts learned in the bosom of their communities.
